Want to turn your love of the DCFM into a job? Now is your chance, we're looking for a Sanitation Employee to join our team on Saturdays throughout the outdoor season.

Dane County Farmers’ Market – Sanitation Employee

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: April 15 - November 11, Saturdays 8am-2pm

We usually have at least two sanitation employees so that they can trade off the dates that work best for them. Only one sanitation employee will be on site each Saturday along with a Manager-on-Site, the Food Access Coordinator, and DCFM Information Booth Volunteers.

Location: Downtown Madison, Capitol Square

Responsibilities: Replace full trash and recycling bins around the Square (there are 8 pairs total) and use the DCFM cart to bring the full bags to a City provided dumpster a block off of the Square. Break down recycling bins, put trash cans back in their cages at the end of the market, and collect trash can covers from around the Square at the end of the market.
