The Hol­i­day Dane Coun­ty Farmer’s Mar­ket is locat­ed in the majes­tic Monona Ter­race. This bustling mar­ket fea­tures more than 60 ven­dors and is your one-stop shop for all of your local food needs for the holidays!

Holiday Market

Getting to the Holiday Market

Driving Directions

When you are a block or two from the Square you’ll be close by a number of municipal parking ramps. In addition there are private ramps in the vicinity as well. Ample street parking, most of which is metered, make it easy to park just a short distance from the market.

From the North

Exit Interstate 90/94 on to Highway 151, which becomes East Washington Ave. in Madison. Continue on East Washington Ave until you reach Blair St. Make a left on Blair St. Blair St. will turn into John Nolen Drive.

From the South

Coming from the South, exit Hwy 12/18 on to Park St. going north to W. Washington Ave. which leads to downtown.

From the East

Follow Highway 151, which becomes East Washington Ave. to the square.

From the West

Follow University Ave. headed east. It will turn into Campus Drive and then West Johnson Street. Stay on West Johnson Street until you cross State Street. Take the first right, which is Carroll Street and park in the State Street Capitol Garage.

Biking

Many dedicated paths and bike-friendly routes into downtown Madison make it easy to get to the Farmers’ Market. Bring your backpack, saddle bags, or bike trailer to carry the many fresh and wonderful products available at the Dane County Farmers’ Market Holiday Market. Ample bike parking is available at the Monona Terrace. There is also a bike elevator from the Capital City Bike Trail along the lake to the main floor of the Monona Terrace.

Downtown city parking

Parking

An on-site parking garage provides ample parking. There is a $5 fee for parking. In addition, if you enter the Monona Terrace from W. Wilson St. and bear to the right instead of entering the garage, there are metered parking spots located on either side of the main entrance.

Accessibility

The Monona Terrace is handicap accessible. There are elevators located on either end of the building.
