Our Local Food Pick Ups are safe and easy! Here’s how to participate:
- Download the WhatsGood app or create an account at sourcewhatsgood.com.
- Browse the products in our online store and pre-order as much as you want within 1 transaction. Our online store opens at 10 am on Thursday and closes at noon on Tuesday, the day before the pick up. *Special holiday hours: store opens on Friday, November 27th at 10 am for December 2nd pick up.*
- Drive-thru the pick up and our farmers contactlessly place your orders in your vehicle.
All DCFM staff and vendors are required to wear masks at all times. All patrons 5+ years old (whether on foot, via bicycle, or picking up by vehicle) are required to wear a face covering on site, unless exempt due to a medical condition.
Getting to the Wednesday Local Food Pick Ups
Please post a sign on your vehicle with your full name and the farms from whom you ordered.
Navigate to E Rusk Avenue via Rimrock Road. Off E Rusk Avenue, you will turn onto Alliant Energy Center's campus and then drive along the periphery of the parking lot, following the DCFM signage, to get to Pavilion 2. Enter Pavilion 2 via the large garage door on the western side of the building and stop at each vendor you pre-ordered from and they will contactlessly place your pre-orders in your car. Vehicles will then exit via Alliant Energy Center Way.
We have assigned time slots to distribute customers through the pick up. These are the time slots based on the first letter of your first name:
- A thru J: 3:30 - 4:30 pm
- K thru Z: 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Bicyclists and pedestrians arriving by bus will pick up their products via the same flow of traffic as cars.
Bicyclists can come at any time during the pick up hours from 3:30 - 5:30 pm and will follow the same flow of traffic as vehicles.
