About Us

Blue Skies Farm specializes in red, orange and yellow raspberries, heirloom tomatoes, tropical ginger and turmeric. We were certified organic through 2007, but since then have dropped our certification as an effort to save costs and paperwork. We still grow using organic methods. In August and September we are open for U‑pick raspberries as well as farm pick-up of vegetables. When the U‑pick season begins (mid-August) we are open for about 3 weeks from 8:30 am to noon Sunday through Friday, depending on the quantity of berries in the field. We also take pre-orders for pick-up at the farm or at Saturday’s market. We attempt to close our season by mid-October.

About Our Products

We are very seasonal in our product. In the spring we have a wide selection of greens and asparagus. That transitions into carrots, beets, beans, garlic and fresh onions by early July.  By mid-July we have our first raspberries and the beginning of our tomato harvest. In mid to late August our raspberry crop comes on strong and we have red, orange and yellow berries, as well as apples depending upon the season. We don't spray our apples so some years they are not marketable. In September our raspberry harvest slows and we have ginger, turmeric and concord grapes as well as fall greens.
