The DCFM main­tains a wait­ing list for those indi­vid­u­als who would like to become mem­bers, so that they can sell at any DCFM mar­ket. This includes our Wednes­day Mar­ket, Sat­ur­day Mar­ket on the Square, Hol­i­day Farm­ers’ Mar­ket, and Win­ter Farm­ers’ Market.

Please see our Mar­ket Rules for allow­able prod­ucts and mem­ber require­ments before sub­mit­ting a wait­list let­ter. More infor­ma­tion is below.

 

To get on the wait­ing list, write a let­ter to the DCFM with the fol­low­ing information:

  • A state­ment that you wish to be placed on the DCFM Wait­ing List and con­tact infor­ma­tion (phone, email, mail­ing address)
  • A gen­er­al descrip­tion of the product(s) that you wish to sell.*
  • A $25.00 appli­ca­tion fee. (Make checks to Dane Coun­ty Farm­ers’ Market.)

* The DCFM allows only Wis­con­sin agri­cul­tur­al­ly relat­ed items that have been active­ly pro­duced by the ven­dor. Craft-type items are not allowed. Please see Mem­ber Rules for more detailed information.

* As a pro­duc­er-only mar­ket, we also require own­ers of the busi­ness to be present at every mar­ket. Please see Mem­ber Rules for mem­ber requirements.

For non-prof­it, polit­i­cal, and pub­lic infor­ma­tion tables

A lim­it­ed num­ber of booth spaces are avail­able for non-prof­it, polit­i­cal, and pub­lic infor­ma­tion dur­ing the Sat­ur­day Mar­ket around the Capi­tol Square. These booths are per­mit­ted thru the Capi­tol Police.

For arts & crafts and food cart vendors

The City of Madi­son per­mits and reg­u­lates the arts & craft ven­dors, as well as the food carts, which flank the Dane Coun­ty Farm­ers’ Market.
