EBT at Market - Open for Business!

EBT Services Still Available at the Dane County Farmers’ Market

Several media outlets have reported that software company Novo Dia Group is discontinuing its software used for EBT redemptions at farmers' markets by July 31st. The Dane County Farmers' Market will not be impacted! Our equipment is provided by a company other than Novo Dia.  Our EBT program and Double Dollars services will not be affected.

EBT services are extremely important for allowing low-income community members to afford to shop at farmers’ markets. The food is healthy, fresh, and supports Wisconsin producers and businesses. EBT redemptions at Wisconsin markets have grown every year, as more markets get equipped to accept EBT services, and more FoodShare recipients learn that they can use their benefits at farmers’ markets.

Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin provides EBT services and Double Dollars at 10 Dane County Farmers’ Markets, including the DCFM. The Double Dollars program provides a dollar-for-dollar match up to $25 every market day for anybody who shops at a participating farmers’ market using an EBT card.
